Maldives Police Services has reported that some foreigners have been arrested on charges of prostitution. Police revealed that 5 people were arrested in a special conducted by the Serious and Organized Crime Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department of Maldives Police.
According to police 5 people were arrested. They include 3 men and 2 women. Police also reveal that when arrested they had in their possession articles that may be used during sex. Police also reveal that 5 people were arrested in house in Henveiru at around 1.00 am yesterday night.
The matter is now being investigated by the Serious Organized Crime Unit revealed Maldives Police Services.
