Former AG appeals for free and fair elections

But he said his services are no longer needed and even if what they are doing right now is unlawful, the president can’t stop them. He said that President Maumoon will rule in this nation till the 10th of November.

Speaking on behalf of SLP, Mohamed Nasheed (colonel) said that there is no stone unturned by Male’ MP Ibrahim Ismail (Ibra) to bring Democracy to Maldives. He said that it was something Ibra told him to deliver to the people.

“If what we are doing is unlawful, let Commissioner of Police Adam Zahir hand cuff us and Azima Shakoor prosecute us. They cannot do this. They cannot stop this” Colonel said.

MDP Chairperson Mohamed Nasheed (Anni) said that the President’s trip to Dhaalu Atoll is presidential campaign using the nation’s budget.
