President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom yesterday morning departed Male’ on a visit to some islands of South Nilandhe Atoll.
During his visit to the Atoll, the President is scheduled to participate in the Fishermen’s Day celebrations to be held in Kuda Huvadhoo tonight.
President is being accompanied on his visit to South Nilande Atoll by the Special Advisor to the President, Umar Zahir, the Minister of Atolls Development, Ahmed Thasmeen Ali, Minister for Presidential Affairs,.Mohamed Hussain and People’s Majlis’ member for South Nilande Atoll,Ahmed Siyam Mohamed.
