A joint training program initiated by Marine Research Center and IUCN an international conservation association, Kodio an association who do research in Indian Ocean, named “Coral reef resilience field training” commenced yesterday in the safari boat in which this training is to be conducted.
This training conducted on MY Gavia,is to determine the health of reefs due to the climatic change and to see how it comes back to the previous situation. Theory and practical sessions will be held for the participants who are from Maldives, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
