He called upon the Alliance to not to vote president Maumoon because of his Masters Degree and experience.

Naifaru is stop in the “Uthuru Arumaazu”, of the National Unity Alliance made to gain support and give people information about the importance of an interim government.

“Just don’t vote him by looking at his experience and educational qualification. Among us even, there are better people than him. He has no experience in ruling on democratic basis” Hassan said.

In an interview given to Miadhu Daily by the IDP Vice President Mohamed Hassan Manik, he said that the purpose of such a unity trip is to make the people feel and understand that they have been deprived from their essential rights. He said that those rights can be given not only by the new constitution, but also with a government entrusted by the people. He remarked that many laws which needs to me made under the 1998 constitution had not been made yet and the only way the people can get their essential rights under the new constitution is an interim government.

National unity alliance also held a meeting in Lhaviyani Kurendhoo.
