Red Notice issued to arrest 10 fugitives in Pak

Official of the Attorney General has issued red notice required to bring the 10 fugitives hiding in Pakistan back to Maldives for trail.

Maldives Police yesterday afternoon have confirmed that they have received the red notice required to seek the support of the Interpol to arrest the 10 fugitives.

Speaking to press Mohamed Saleem Assistant Director General at the Attorney General’s Office said that Maldives Police has forwarded the Sultan Park explosion case to them for prosecution. He said that the case was forwarded to them on the 4 of this month after necessary investigation by police.

“After due consideration the government has filed papers in the court on the 5 of this month. There are 16 people whom the government is suing with regard to the explosion, 10 of them are in Pakistan, the case of the minor has been sent to Juvenile court” said Saleem.

Although Saleem declined to reveal the identity of the minor, the other 5 are identified as Ahmed Naseer, age 20 of Saadhunaa Manzil / Ga. Kaduhulhudhoo, Moosa Inaz age 21 of Finihiyaage of L.Kalhaidhoo , Mohamed Sobah age 19 of Landhooaage , Mohamed Hussain age 32 of Harudhulaage / S. Hithadhoo and Mohamed Fazeel age 28 of Kunaaruge of Dhaalu Ribudhoo.

The 10 fugitives who are in Pakistan are Hassan Yousuf age 26 of Mirusmaage / L.Kalhaidhoo, Mohamed Amin age 23 of Kariyaage / Maathadu / Fuvahmulak, Hassan Riyaz age 21 of Dazy Villa / Haa Dhaalu Nehlhaidhoo, Mohamed Iqbal age 38 of M.

Naseemee Villa / Male’, Mohamed Imadh age 27 of Amaaz / B. Dharavandhoo , Ibrahim Maslamath age 31 of Ma.Gold Ring / Male’, Hussain Shimadh age 25/ B. Dharavandhoo Moosa Manik age 20 of Harudhulaage / S. Hithadhoo, Abdul Latheef Ibrahim age 24 of L.Kalaidhoo and Ali Shameem age 25 of Sh. Komandoo

Maldives Police last Thursday confirmed that these 10 fugitives are now in Pakistan.
