Adhaalath party’s office in Addu Atoll Hithadhoo was robbed yesterday. Seenu Hithadhoo police has reported that a window was broken to enter the office building.
A computer system and video player was stolen from the office. Reports say that one person has been arrested in suspicion to the case. Further investigation is presently underway.
In a statement in the website of the party, it stated that this was a planned robbery and they have some suspects. The names have been reported to police, it said.
Adhaalath slammed authorities for not taking action to reduce such cases. They also called upon people to be aware of the fact that this is the holy month of Ramazan and that such acts should be stopped.
