Students from Thaajudheen School and Fareedhiyya School visited People’s Majlis House to obtain information about the work of parliament.
Nearly 270 students visited the parliament house where they were given information about the work of parliament and how members are being elected. Speaker of the Majlis Ahmed Zahir and Secretary General Ahmed Mohamed provided the information to the students.
This is an ongoing program to create awareness among younger generation and students about the functions and works done by parliament members. Students were also provided with information on the importance of members of parliament and their roles in the society.
