Marketing Manager of Nevada Company has reported that they would be rationing the sale of cement during the coming days. Abdul Raheem Hussain said that the company is making such a move since there is a shortage for cement in the local market and it is important to take such measures.
He said that it is important that people get the cement without much difficulties and the only way it could be managed is through rationing.
The company also reported that the next shipment of cement is expected to reach Male’ after one month and therefore, the present stock would not last if no precautionary measures are in place.
Lafaaj Company has also reported that the company would have a new cement shipment in Male’ by September 16.
Companies report that the shortage for cement in the market was due to the fact that there was a reduction in supplies in the foreign market.
