Nominations for the 4 national film awards announced

Nomination for the 4th National film awards which is to be held on the 29th of this month has been announced the previous night by National Center for Arts (NCA). The nominations were announced by Director General of NCA Shamoon Hameed, in a special ceremony held at NCA.

The Nominations announced last night were Best Actor; Yoosuf Shafeeu (Zuleykha), Mohamed Manik (Eynaa), Yoosuf Shafeeu (Vehey Vaarey therein), Ali Seezan (Dharinnah takaa) and Yoosuf Shafeeu (Kalaa aa Nulaa).

Nominations for the Best Actress were; Maryam Nisha (Zuleykha), Niuma Mohamed (Dharinnahtakaa), Jamsheeda Mohamed (Vehey vaarey therein), Niuma Mohamed (Kalaayaa nulaa) and Maryam Nisha (Edhi edhi hoadheemey).

Nominations for the best supporting actor were; Ali Seezan (Zuleykha), Mohamed Shaavin (Vehey vaarey therein), Ahmed Asim (Dharinnah takaa), Mohamed Manik (Zuleykha) and Ali Ahmed (Eynaa)

Nominations for the best supporting actress were; Sheela Najeeb(Vehey Vaarey therein), Khadheeja Ibrahim Didi (Vehey vaarey therein), Aishath Shiraanee (Kalaayaa nulaa) and Sheereen Abdul Wahid (Dharinnah takaa) and Fathimath Neelam(Edhathuru).
