241 blood donors have registered to donate blood in the special event organized by Radio Club of the Voice of Maldives in the artificial beach.
Trio Band performed live music at the event where people could register to donate blood by simply sending short-message-services. The program was intended to support Thalasaemia patients.
Donors who have registered will donate blood to Thalasaemia Center and Radio Club has expressed their satisfaction towards the huge support they received from the public.
The program was also aimed to facilitate people who want to donate blood to come forward to donate blood since there are difficulties to get donors during the month of Ramazan.
