The President and the First Lady arrives in Male’ after concluding their official visit to Jordon. President says that his visit to Jordon was very successful
The President and the First Lady returned to Male’ this morning after concluding their official visit to Jordon. The President visited Jordon on the invitation of Jordanian King Abdulla II, to attend the “International Conference on Islamic Justice” held from 3rd to 5th of this month. On arrival at Male’ International Airport, the President and the First Lady were welcomed by the Ministers, State Ministers, State Dignitaries, senior staff at the President’s Office and the Presidential Palace, Senior officers of the Maldives National Defence Force and the Maldives Police Service, and the senior staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In an interview given to the Television Maldives upon his arrival the President said that his visit to Jordon was very successful. The President also gave details about his meetings with the King and the Prime Minister of Jordan and his address at the opening of the “International Conference on Islamic Justice”.
During this visit, the First Lady met with Queen Rania of Jordon.
