Maldives Police Service has arrested two of the suspects wanted in connection with the serial street fights which lead to the death of Ali Irushan of H. Kubraa.The two suspects apprehended are Azlif Rauf, 22 yrs and Ahmed Aalif Rauf, 21 yrs of H. Hilton.
The remaining 6 wanted in connection to the serial fights are, Hussain Razeen of H. Hundred Flower 21yrs, Shifaulla Abdul Wahid of HA. Hoarafushi, Rahmaaneehiyaa 25 yrs, Mohamed Ahsan of GDH. Gadhdhoo, Thinfiya 24 yrs, Minan Rasheed of S. Meedhoo, Gulshan 22 yrs, Adam Ziyad of M. Forget me not 25 yrs and Ahmed Simhan of S. Hulhudhoo, Athiree aage 21 yrs.
Police earlier revealed that they were looking for teen age minor also in connection with the ongoing street violence. However police declined to reveal the identity of the minor.
The Maldives Police Service has urged general public to come forward with any information concerning the suspects.
