UNDP reveals development projects

United Nations Development Plan (UNDP) has revealed their developmental projects for the next 3 years.

According to UNDP website such projects include programs to strengthen judiciary and human rights development and many other human resource developmental programs. Further the three year programs allocated for the period 2007 to 2010 include programs targeted to reduce poverty levels in the country. In this regard during the 3period programs on health, educational, housing and especially programs to increase the earnings of women will be conducted. Further the website also states that programs to increase awareness levels on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV AIDS will be held. Awareness programs on the protection from natural disasters and environmental issues as well as programs on waste management and sewerage systems will be held.

UNDP has provided assistance during the past 3 years in the development of human rights and strengthening of the judiciary as well as in the tsunami reconstruction projects.
