The Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the People’s Special Majlis Ibrahim Ismail, Ibra , has revealed that only 2 Chapters consisting of 12 Articles remains to be completed.
Results of the meetings held on last Thursday, Friday and Saturday is very promising said Ibrahim Ismail.
During these 3 days Drafting Committee has completed work on 3 chapters, they are the chapter on independent Commissions, the chapter concerning the President and the chapter on the Cabinet said Ibrahim Ismail Chairmen of the Drafting Committee.
Ibrahim Ismail further said the drafting of the remaining chapters can be completed within two or three sessions.
Velidhoo News Service inquired the progress of the re drafting of those Articles sent back to the Committee. Re drafting work will commence after completing the draft of the remaining 2 chapters, Ibrahim Ismail replied.
It is reported that during past three days members of the drafting committee worked tirelessly day and night to complete 3 chapters mentioned.
