Former Tourism Minister Dr. Musthafa Luthfee has said that the religious extremism and various other undesirable evils occurring in our society is the result of an unbalanced development program followed by the government.

Dr. Musthafa Luthfee also said that he believes that the government has not implemented suitable measures to eliminate these social issues.

“Differences in religious opinion, theft, violence, drug abuse and various other social issues occurring in our society is due to the policy of unbalanced developmental program followed by government” said Dr. Luthfee.

“ One of the most important and essential thing required in a society is that the authorities involved must conduct the affairs of the people in an open, equal and just manner; if this not going on then there will no order and no peace” said Dr.Luthfee.

He further explained “that development of a nation should not be directed to one area; progress in economic and trade only does not bring peace and stability; we have to advance our social life and our cultural aspects along with economic development; then we can enjoy a stable and peaceful coexistence”.

There are strong indications that Dr. Musthafa Luthfee along with other political strongmen is going to form a political party soon.
