DRP notes the relative quiet within which the referendum was taken and believes is as testimony to the success of the Reform Agenda of the President.
DRP notes with satisfaction the atmosphere of relative quiet within which the referendum on the system of government has taken place.
Based on the information at hand at present, DRP notes that while there was wide spread intimidation and use of fear tactics across the country, the much polarized and heated campaign and the subsequent voting has passed without major disturbances that may warrant cancellation or nullifying the voting process or the result.
DRP believes that this result is testament to the success of the Reform Agenda of the President which has ensured freedom of expression across the country and has also awakened the population to their rights and their responsibilities.
