MDP has held a social gathering in Maradhoo, Addu Atoll, to celebrate the victory they had achieved in the referendum held on Saturday.
During the celebration a desk was placed to receive new applications for the party’s membership.
According to Velidhoonews’s correspondent in Addu, thirty one new members joined MDP last night in his presence.
MDP says that a total of 149 new members joined the party last night. The gathering was organized by MDP’s Maradhoo office, say reports.
