The longest banner ever to be displayed in Maldives has been put on the roadside of Addu Link Road.
The banner was put on the road by supporters of parliamentary system of government in Maradhoo, Addu Atoll. The banner displays slogans and other messages intended to promote parliamentary form of government.
People who gathered to the Link Road’s Maradhoo domain expressed their feelings on the 400 feet long banner after it was put on the roadside.
According to reports people are visiting the part of the road where the banner is.
“This banner expresses the feelings of the atoll. This is a great work” a resident of Feydhoo who witnessed the banner told Miadhu.
