Explosives have landed on the roof of Silver Villa, S. Maradhoo, owned by Ibrahim Shareef (MP).
Shareef is reportedly in Addu Atoll to promote presidential system of government for the upcoming referendum.
Minister of Gender Aishath Mohamed says that she counted two hits on the roof which she believed were stones. The two strikes were followed by a loud bang, she said.
Miadhu’s correspondent in Addu says that the third strike landed on the roof of Miadhu Bureau Office in Addu.
The people behind the attacks were not immediately identified, says our correspondent. However police have launched an investigation.
