Haveeru close-door debate cancelled

The close-door debate organized by Haveeru daily newspaper has been cancelled due to MDP. Miadhu Daily has learnt that the debate scheduled to be held on Saturday night was cancelled because MDP pulled the plug off the debate. Managing Editor of Haveeru Ahmed Zahir (Hirigaa) has confirmed that the debate is cancelled.

This time Haveeru decided to hold the debate at TVM studio. The debate was supposed to take place between a panel consist of the supporters of both the system equally. But MDP has decided not to participate. Haveeru also gave the members of the parties to participate if the party officials are unable to do so. MDP said no to this decision too.

The debate on governmental systems organized by Haveeru on 4th August was stopped due to the interruption from the audience.
