A school girl attending grade nine of Ameeniya School, in capital Male’ was sexually assaulted by three men on August 1, say police.
According to police three men alleged to have tied the 15-year old girl to a tree in ViliMale’ are now detained.
The girl’s skin was allegedly captured on a movie camera by the three men who are presently under police custody.
As soon as police received the information on the assault on 8th of this month, they caught the three men, say police.
“The assault was carried out on the 15-year old girl who had abandoned her home and started living in ViliMale’. The girl was taken out by the three men on August 1 at 17:30 and her naked body was captured on a movie camera” a police officer who wanted to remain anonymous told Velidhoo Community.
Police declined to comment further.
